I just stared silently at him for a few minutes wondering what to do. How could I possibility explain this to him when I could barely understood what had just happened myself? I realized too much time was passing by. I had to say something now or it would look even more suspicious.
“Oh Ryan, fancy meeting you here.” I laughed nervously. “What did you think of Ms. Allen’s lesson on The Lord of the Flies? It’s such a strange book. I’ll be glad when we’re done and start A Midsummer’s Night Dream. I almost dropped my pen just now, but that’s accident prone me. What else do you have this semester besides English? I have gym, anthropology, and biology. I really like gym and biology. Anthropology would be better if Ms. Anderson wasn’t teachi-”

I look out over the side of the building. Rain drops dripping down from the ends of my hair and bangs, causing chilling sensations as they run down my back and hit my nose below. Lightening, brightens the otherwise dark sky. A hand reaches out over the side of the roof. I open my mouth, a silent scream waiting to erupt from it…
Ding-Ding! Ding-Ding!
My eyes remain closed as I try to savor the last moment, I have to stay in before I have to get up and go to school. Finally, knowing that since I have already pushed the snooze button on the alarm once, it was time that I at least attempted to get up, I tentatively opened one eye and then the other. I sat up with a yawn and a stretch. Then I looked at my clock calmly. Oh good. It said 7:40 am, so I was actually up early. I could get a shower today.
